WA artists have been quick off the mark to enter next year’s Dunsborough’s Sculpture by the Bay competition, held every March long weekend as part of the annual Dunsborough Arts Festival.
Coordinator Vicky Small said entries opened early this month, attracting interest from artists who have entered past competitions, and from artists who plan to enter for the first time.
Ms Small said their first entry for next year was received from a Bullsbrook artist the day entries opened.
“Dunsborough’s Sculpture by the Bay has grown to be the biggest event of its kind in regional WA, and current indications from the interest we are receiving are that next year will be another stellar event,” she said.
